Types of Annuities

There are many types of annuities. Most people have heard of only a few types of annuities but there are many more. Below is a list of different types of annuities. Before you purchase an annuity, make sure that you have done your research into the benefits, pros and cons of different types of annuities. High interest annuities are not alway the most desirable. There may be other annuities than the ones you were shown that may be better for your situation.

Bear in mind that different annuity companies may have different categories for different types of annuities such as annuity index, fixed annuity, immediate annuity, or variable annuity.
